Jennifer Jones, upon completing a Master’s in Decorative Arts from the University of Scotland, joined Christie's Glasgow in 1998 as a graduate trainee. Following the closing of Christie’s Scotland, Jennifer transferred to the Furniture Department at Christie’s South Kensington and remained there until 2001. After several years as a general appraiser and specialist at both Phillips Australia and Christie’s Melbourne, Jennifer moved to Christie’s New York in 2005, where she was made an Assistant Vice President.


Jennifer Jones has over ten years experience in appraising Fine and Decorative Arts, including furniture, ceramics, glass, silver, and works of art. A native of Toronto, Canada, Jennifer graduated with honors from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science. She has a Masters in Philosophy with a concentration in Decorative Arts from the University of Glasgow, as well as a diploma in French Language from the Universite de Nantes in France.
