Our Community Satellite Program

In order to reach more New Yorkers affected by cancer, GCNYC currently provides cancer support groups at seven satellites in the neighborhoods of Park Slope, Brooklyn and the Parkchester and Eastchester sections of the Bronx. In these support groups, members help each other learn to live more fully by sharing their wisdom and their own firsthand experiences with cancer.

Brooklyn Satellite Support Groups:
• Post-treatment: Adults who are one year post cancer treatment.
• Bereavement: Adults grieving the death of a loved one to cancer.

Bronx Satellite Support Groups*:
• Breast Cancer Support Groups: Adults living with a breast cancer diagnosis (Groups available in both English and Spanish).
